General Tips for Every Season


1. Choose Clothes That Feel Like You

Don’t force yourself into something just because it’s trendy. You’ll feel best (and look best) in something you’d actually wear.


2. Bring Options

I always recommend 2–3 outfits for your session so we can capture a range of styles.


3. Avoid Distracting Logos & Neon Colors

They pull focus from your face and don’t photograph well. Stick to solids or subtle patterns. But also at the end of the day, if your style is bright, be true to yourself.


4. Think About Movement

Clothing that flows, twirls, or drapes adds beautiful motion to your photos.


5. Accessorize Intentionally

Layered jewelry, statement earrings, cool shoes, or hats can elevate your look.


6. Test Your Outfits at Home

Try them on in natural light and move around. If you’re constantly adjusting it, skip it.


7. Make Sure It Fits Well

Clothes that are too loose or too tight can be uncomfortable and unflattering in photos.
